1. What is a WorldWideWeb Directory?

w3Bids is a general web directory where webmasters submitting their sites are in full control where listing will be displayed. By increasing the total contribution to the listing bid you can move your site to the top of category page or even to the home page of our directory. Contributions to the listing rating can be made at any time by anybody. Listing with the equal total contributions will be sorted alphabetically. Large part of funds received from the listings contributions is reinvested into promotion of our directory which potentially will benefit listing owners by driving more traffic to their sites.

2. How would my site benefit from the keyword link?

From the Search engines point of view external link from the site with relevant content and with keywords in the tag line has the most value. Your page also has more chances to be indexed and shown higher in the search results for this keyword which will lead to more potential visitors. It is in your own interest to choose most relevant category and create keyword rich title and description. Many directories and search engines do not allow keywords in the listing title - that's where WorldWideWeb Directory comes into play...

3. How w3Bids is different from thousands of other bidding directories?

- WorldWideWeb directory is using unique custom designed search engine friendly layout.
- Your website will get 3 links to the main page and up to 3 links to the internal pages.
- We offer longer listings titles and descriptions on category pages.
- Details page will have your own title, meta description, meta keywords, and 500 characters limit for the extended description.
- Sitemap and RSS feeds are frequently submitted to major search engines.
- We constantly work to add more benefits for submitters and visitors.

4. How long will my site remain listed in the WorldWideWeb directory?

All websites accepted in the WorldWideWeb directory will be listed for the terms of 10 years from the time of approval and this term is extended to 10 full years every time listing is upgraded. We can not guarantee position of your listing but you always have an option to improve it or even move to the home page by adding to the total contribution.

5. How do I submit my listing?

Adding your listing is easy. Just click Submit Listing button in the menu, select apropriate category, enter required information about your website and place a bid of at least required minimum. Your listing will be activated as soon as we review it and payment is confirmed. We try to review all listings right after payment confirmation, usually within 24 hours or less.

6. There is no appropriate category for my listing...

It is in your interest to be listed in the most related category. Search engines see more value in the external links from the pages with relevant content. If you can not find category directly related to your business please use Contact Us form to suggest new category.
When suggesting new category please also submit all details for the site you want to get listed.
If your request for a new category is approved we will list your site for free.
NOTE: Do not submit your site to non related category! Categories can not be changed so your listing may be declined and you will have to submit again to the appropriate category!

7. How can I choose a title for my listing?

To get the most benefits for your site create brief descriptive title for your listing. For example good title for our site would be "Keyword bidding directory" and bad title "w3bids.com directory". Try to include main keyword or key phrase in your title. Unless you are submitting well known business like Verizon or Panasonic do not include your company name in the title - it will not help your listing.

8. Can I change details of my listing later?

Yes you can. Please submit a request with correct details for your listing using Contact Us form and we will update your listing accordingly.
NOTE: category of the listing can not be changed so please choose it carefully!

9. I paid for my listing but it is not showing up...

Every new submission has to be reviewed and approved by the administrator. Usually new listings go "live" in our directory within 24 hours of payment confirmation. If after 24 hours you still don't see your listing please contact us with details of the transaction and the email address that payment was issued from and we will promptly investigate the problem.

10. Can I submit a deep link to one of the internal pages on my site?

Yes, when submitting your listing there are fields for up to three additional deep links to the internal pages of your site. Please write descriptive title for the pages you are linking to.

11. Can I submit more than one link?

Multiple links to the same top level domains are only allowed if you offer different services on your site. For example if you offer web design and SEO services - you may submit both pages with appropriate titles and descriptions. Remember that you can include up to 3 deep links from the details page with every submission. Please note that every submission is a new listing and requires separate payment, even if it is internal pages from the same top level domain.

12. I have changed my mind. Can I get a refund?

Sorry but all sales are final. Please review Submission Guidelines very carefully to avoid your listing being declined! After you completed submission and listing was approved no partial or full refunds could be issued. If your listing was declined you will get a refund minus review fee.
